Russ Benson was the only teetotaler alive during the ’80’s. Now we’re jealous of his un-sullied memory.

We wouldn’t look like we do without standing on some very smart shoulders. We like to use (and hack) free open source web software engines to power sqrlz.com.

The foremost is Wordpress weblog software (what’re you lookin’ at?). We’ve hacked it to bits, but the Wordpress theme (look) began life as Akua 2.04. We’ve also added several plugins to help present our case with grace.

The next offramp from there, our discussion forum, utilizes Lussomo Vanilla. We’ve also tweaked the look of that ourselves, and added various enhancements from third parties.

The Image Gallery is another customized Lussomo product, Filebrowser.
